SETTING	CHARACTERS	PLOT
Ø California Ø One summer afternoon Ø Mrs. Oedipa’s house. Ø The next day Ø Roseman’s office Ø In the morning	v Mrs. Oedipa Maas v Mucho Maas v Dr. Hilarius v Roseman	Ø  Mrs. Oedipa returns to her house from a party. Ø  She finds a letter from Metzger about the death of Pierce. Ø  Odiepa gets a letter from the legal executor of the estate of Pierce Inverarity. Ø  She tells about the letter to her husband and her lawyer, Roseman. Ø  She always wants to escape from Pierce, but she never actually escape.

Ø California Ø San Narciso Ø Motel	v Mrs. Oedipa Maas v Miles v Metzger	Ø  Oedipa decided she should travel to San Narciso and look into Pierce's affairs. Ø  Metzger tells her of his weird personal history, relating stories of his job as a child actor named Baby Igor. Ø  Metzger then tried to make a bet with Oedipa about the end of the movie. Ø  Miles and his band show up with a troupe of hippie teenage girls ready to party, but Oedipa asks them all to leave.

Ø  San Narciso. Ø  Tower. Ø Bar ( The Scope). Ø Fangoso Lagoons	v Oedipa. v  Metzger,. v Mucho. v Mike Fallopian. v Ominous Di Presso / Tony Jaguar v Manny Di Presso	Ø  Oedipa and Metzger go to a bar called The Scope. Ø  Oedipa and Metzger meet Mike Fallopian. Ø  Oedipa and Metzger take a trip out to Fangoso Lagoons to find Lake Inverarity, one of Pierce's major land-holdigs. Ø  They met Manny Di Presso. Ø  Oedipa and Metzger went later to see a production of the play. Ø  Oedipal went to the backstage to speak with driblette

Ø Yoyodine Ø Cafetaria, Ø Vesperhaven House, Ø Brekeley	v Mrs. Oedipa Maas v Clayton Chiclitz v Stanley Koteks v Metzger v Mr. Thoth v Genghis Cohen v Mike fallopian v Zapf	Ø  Oedipa visited a Yoyodyne stockholders meeting and got lost with Clayton, they talk about stock. Ø  She wandered until meeting Stanley Koteks, an engineer. Ø  She noticed him drawing the WASTE symbol,Wharfinger and the trystero. Then she goes to Brekeley. Ø  In Vesperhaven, Oedipa meets Mr. Thoth. Then, he talks about his strange dreams. Ø  Oedipa goes to find Fallopian and show him the WASTE symbol. Ø  Oedipa told Cohen what she knew about these markings. He was not very responsive.
