Concept of Drama:

Title: Invisible Angel

1.      Character:

·        Luigi (main character):

Luigi is an unnormal boy. He is ten years old. He has limitedness that distinguish him with his friend. He lives with his father, but without his mother. His mother passed away when he was five years old. He has oddity in his daily activities. He always speaks by himself as though he has a close friend, but other people even their father did not know who always invited him to speak and frequently accompany him everywhere Luigi go. In the other hand, Luigi is a clever student. he has exceptional intelligence that do not owned by his friend. But, due to his strange behaviour, his friend go away from him. He also has very good friend in his fantasy that can protect, entertain, and accompany him.

·        Mother Luciana (minor character)

Mother Luciana is a someone who always accompany Luigi. She always there wherever Luigi go. She is very kind person in the Luigi’s fantasy. she like Luigi’s mother. She gives pleasure to Luigi. She becomes a friend for Luigi and a place for Luigi to share. Mother Luciana accompany Luigi since he was five years old, after Luigi’s mother passed away.

·        Mr. Robert (minor character)

Mr. Robert is a Luigi’s father. He is a perfect father. He is a very rich person. He is the one who always understand for Luigi’s condition. Luigi often tells about mother Luciana to him. He can not see mother Luciana, but he try to be good listener for his son. He pretend that mother Luciana really there. He try to conceiving Luigi’s fantasy, because he conscious that Luigi does not has a mother.

·        Arsinta (minor character)

Arsinta is a fiancee’s Mr. Robert. She really want to be Mr. Robert’s wife. Arsinta is a tricky woman. She just want to grab Mr. Robert’s wealth. She do everything to be Luigi’s mother. She pretend as a kind woman, she subjected Luigi with very good, but it just in front of Mr. Robert. If Mr. Robert did not beside her, she always hurted Luigi.

2.      Plot

The plot in this drama is linier. Because it retell the events continuously and forward.

·        Introduction:

There is a boy that had limitedness and just stay together with his father, without a mother.

·        Conflict:

Came a cunning woman named Arsinta who try to be Mr. Robert’s wife.

·        Climax:

Arsinta do everything to be Mr. Robert’s wife. Even he try to hurt Luigi,  because he did not agree if his father married with Arsinta.

·        Anti climax:

Mr. Robert’s wife came in his dream and ask him to cancel his married with Arsinta. She tell him that Arsinta is unkind woman, and she did not good for him and Luigi. then, Mr. Robert fulfill his beloved wife’s request.

·        Ending:

Mr. Robert and Luigi happily ever after although without the figure of real mother. Precence of mother Luciana was make Luigi happy.

3.      Setting

·        Place setting:

a)     Luigi’s school:

Many of the events take place in the Luigi’s school. He does his activities in his school. Start from in the morning until in the afternoon. So, many actions that Luigi does in the school.

b)     Luigi’s house:

In the house, not only Luigi in that place. But also his father, mother Luciana, even Arsinta.

c)     Luigi’s house balcony:

In here, Luigi always speaks and share his story with mother Luciana. He feel quiet when he meet mother Luciana in the balcony. Sometimes he spends a half day in the balcony with mother Luciana.

d)     Luxury Restaurant:

Mr. Robert and Arsinta always dinner in luxury restaurant once a week.

·        Time setting:

When Luigi at 10 years old.

4.      Dialogue:

w  In the first part of the drama is prologue. The narrator tell about background of the Luigi and his family.

w  When Luigi talks with mother Luciana, but the others did not see their conversation, the reader conclude that is monologue.

w  Many conversation in this drama that speaks each other, for the example betwen Luigi and Mr. Robert, and Mr. Robert with Arsinta. So in the drama there are many dialogue.

w  In the last part of the drama is epilogue. Because the narrator tell the end of the story. He also conclude the end of the story clearly.

5.      Style

·        Style of language:

The style of the language in this drama is modern language. Because it tell about story nowadays. More easy to understand if the drama use modern language.

·        Style of the drama:

The style about “invisible angel” drama is fantasy, because the main character speaks by himself with his friend of fantasy.

6.      Theme:

The theme about  “invisible angel” drama is affection.

A boy who did not has mother really want to get respect and affection from a kind mother. So that he has an angel in his fantasy’s world.
